Arc performance and electrical efficiency have been the driving forces behind advances in inverter based welding power sources. These improvements have led to digital welding systems that allow for repeatable, high-precision, and low-spatter welds.

I really enjoyed writing this article. I learned a lot through the research and talking to weld engineers. The technology inside a welding power source is pretty amazing. This was the first article published for the welding industry. When it was submitted, I was still working under my maiden name.  My next article for this magazine will come out in January 2017.

with gratitude

Writing is an exercise of creation, but publishing is one of vulnerability. I am profoundly grateful to my friends, family and fans for their support and feedback. I’m also grateful to the critics–you help me stay humble and strive for better work.
